Tulmar Safety Systems
Inc. is a Canadian-controlled private corporation specializing
in the design, manufacture and maintenance of aeronautical and marine
inflatable life-saving products and related equipment. Items of
primary survival such as life rafts must meet or exceed the minimum
quality standards of both national and international organizations.
Tulmar takes great pride in its work and its capability to meet
or exceed these exacting standards in every product that it sells
or maintains.
Tulmar was incorporated in 1992. Although a young company, our personnel
have had a long association with the Aerospace, Marine and Land
Defense related industries. The Executive and Board of Directors
have all held senior positions with large defense and aerospace
companies. Their average experience in the industry is 26 years.
Tulmar is a member of the Canadian
Defense Industries Association (CDIA).
Our head office and manufacturing facility is located in a modern
60,000 sq-ft building, which we share with our sister company Orca
Inflatables, in the town of Hawkesbury, Ontario. Orca
Inflatables specializes in the design, manufacture and maintenance
of marine inflatable products for recreational, military and rescue
applications.
From an AOG (Aircraft on the Ground) or a routine maintenance and
re-certification to the design and development of new life rafts
or tie-down gear, the Tulmar team is dedicated to providing the
best possible service to its many aerospace, marine, and land defense
customers.
