of inflatable safety and coated fabric products. Employees have
extensive training in the bonding of specialty fabrics, the use
of RF welders and sewing with state-of-the art sewing machines.
We place a significant emphasis on the training and upgrading of
employee skills. As a consequence, Tulmar
is able to provide customized, complex products with outstanding
quality and delivery that is compatible with our customers needs.
We will work with customers during all phases of the product's life
including design, development, production and life cycle support.
Our engineering team works to continually improve performance and
to perfect new products using computer-assisted design programs
for rapid pattern development. We are especially competitive when
manufacturing small orders of complex items and are able to respond
quickly to our customer needs in this respect. This is accomplished
through computer-aided design, state-of-the-art computerized cutting
and direct client interface using the Internet to exchange design
documents and administrative data.
As an ISO 9002-certified manufacturing organization, all Tulmar
products and processes are governed by rigorous quality assurance
procedures. Testing capabilities include hydrostatic testing for
gas bottles, pressure testing for oxygen masks, tensile testing
for fabrics and bonds, hot and cold temperature testing for rafts
and life jackets.

along with publications and supporting documentation for all our
deliverables.
