Here are some communities to which I offered my voluntary services to:
Camp Ozanam :: A non-profit community organization sustained by the Société Saint-Vincent de Paul offering low-rate vacation to families in need.
From 2001 to 2008, I created and maintained their Website, donated computing and other material, provided free computing lessaons to families and children, offered community kitchen services, monitor games and activities, and provided free evening DJ services.
PlaceRomFest :: A Romanian-Canadian Community Service established in 2004 in Montréal, Québec, Canada providing the celebration of Eminescu-Nelligan joint Poetry, the inauguration of the Eminescu Statue & Place de la Roumanie in Montréal, as well as other cultural events and activities.
In 2004, I created the Eminescu Commemorative magazine, created the promotional material for the events, actively participated in the inauguration of the Eminescu event, Statue and Plaza, along with the H.E. Ion Iliescu, President of Romania and other Romanian and Canadian Dignitaries, and organized the "Eminescu - the Poet, the Genie, the Romanian" Exhibition (see Photos & Advertising sections).
Actualiltatea Canadiană :: A non-profit Montreal-Based newspaper in Romanian language dealing with Romanian diaspora current events.
In 2005, I processed the monthly newspaper layout, created the online Web version of the newspaper, and dealt with the advertising and the subscriptions.
