Slow Cooker (Crock-Pot®) Simple BBQ Pork Chops

PREPARATION: 15 minutes
COOKING: 15 minutes (grilling) and 8 hours (slow cooking)
TOTAL: 8 hours 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS

PREPARATION

  1. In a frying pan, heat the oil.
  2. With a knife make 1-2 slits on both sides of each porck chop.
  3. Over medium to high heat, grill all pork chops until golden.
  4. In a bowl, mix the BBQ sauce and the water. Salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Brush the bottom of the slow cooker with the mixed sauce. Then brush each pork chop and place it in the slow cooker.
  6. Pour equally the rest of the mixed sauce. Cover the slow cooker and cook at "LOW" for 8 hours.
NOTES:
You can serve these pork chops with butter rice (see recipe), mashed potatoes, garlic potatoes (my personal favorite) or your favorite vegetables.
