Sausage And Beans Taco Bowls

- Bring the sausages to a boil. Rinse them with cold water. Cut them lengthwise into 4, then into small pieces. Set aside.
- Over high heat, blanch the onions and chopped peppers well mixed in a deep skillet.
- Over medium high heat, add the sausages and mix well. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the beans and water, then the seasoning, and mix well. Cook for 10 more minutes while stirring.
- Remove from the heat and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Also fill the 8 bowls with the composition.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the 8 bowls.
- Sprinkle each bowl with grated cheese. Sprinkle garlic or onion powder to taste.
- Before serving, cook bowls, 2 at a time, for 1 minute in microwave oven, to melt cheese.
NOTES:
This recipe can also be cooked in a casserole dish in the oven. 300 °F (150 °C) for 4 hours.
